Our Staff

Preschool teachers are the first educators your child will have. Our teachers will inspire a love of learning in your child and help prepare them for kindergarten. They will encourage children to explore and try things out by using imaginative play and learning activities.

Devin Willis

Director

My name is Devin Willis, and I’m proud to serve as the Director of Allison Creek Preschool. Allison Creek is much more than preschool to me. It is a community that I have had the privilege of being part of since 2012. Over the years, I have loved getting to know so many wonderful children and families and watching our preschool grow while continuing to provide the warm, nurturing environment that makes it so special.
I have called the Lake Wylie/Clover area home since 2007 and truly love being part of this community. One of my favorite things about my role is building relationships with local families and having the opportunity to welcome new families into our preschool community.

I am a graduate of UNC Charlotte with a B.A. in Communication Studies. During my time at Allison Creek Preschool, I had the opportunity to serve in different roles, including Assistant Director, before becoming Director. Those experiences have given me a deep appreciation for everything that goes into creating a positive preschool experience for children, parents, and teachers.

I believe the preschool years should be filled with opportunities to learn, explore, build confidence, make friends, and most importantly, experience the joy of being a child. I am passionate about creating an environment where every child feels safe, loved, encouraged, and excited to come to school each day. I also strive to stay current on early childhood education, child development, and best practices so that we can continue providing meaningful learning experiences that help prepare our students for the next step in their educational journey.

One of the greatest joys of my job is watching our students grow throughout their time with us and seeing former students and families return to visit years later. It is a wonderful reminder of the lasting relationships that begin within our preschool walls.

If you are considering Allison Creek Preschool for your family, I would love the opportunity to meet you. Please stop by for a visit, tour our school, meet our fantastic teachers, and see firsthand what makes Allison Creek Preschool such a special place to learn and grow.

I look forward to welcoming you and your family to Allison Creek Preschool!

Lindy Morris

Two's Teacher

My name is Lindy Morris, and I am so thankful to be part of the Allison Creek Preschool family! I have been at ACPS since 2024, and I absolutely love teaching the 2's!

My husband, Will, and I were born and raised in Southern California. We have been married for 20 years, and we have three wonderful children, our twin daughters, Abigail and Madison, and our son, Jacob. Between a house full of teenagers and a classroom full of two-year-olds, life is never boring!

I feel so blessed to spend my days helping little ones learn, grow, and explore God's love in a fun and nurturing environment. I can't wait to get to know each of your families and love on your little ones as we learn, play, and make special memories together.

Caroline Smith

Two's Assistant

Hi! I’m Ms. Caroline. I have been part of the preschool family since 2020, first as a parent, then as a volunteer and substitute in each of the age groups. In 2023, I was excited to join the team full-time as an assistant, and I truly love getting to learn, play, and grow alongside the children each day.

Originally from Rock Hill, I have called Lake Wylie home since 2015. I graduated from Winthrop University with a degree in Business Administration and Marketing. My husband and I have two wonderful daughters, Charlotte and Carter, who have both been part of this amazing preschool community. Being both a parent and a teacher here gives me a special appreciation for the caring, supportive environment we share, and I feel so grateful to be a part of it.

Angie Marr

Three's Teacher

Hi! I’m Ms. Angie, and I have the privilege of teaching at Allison Creek Preschool. Over the past 15 years at ACPS, I’ve had the opportunity to serve in several roles, and I am now in my fourth year teaching the Three-Year-Old class.

Teaching preschool is more than a job to me; it’s a calling and a ministry that I truly love. I love creating a classroom where children feel safe, loved, encouraged, and excited to learn through play, exploration, and hands-on experiences.

My husband and I have been married for 26 years, and we have one daughter who recently celebrated her 21st birthday. Family is incredibly important to me, and I cherish the time we spend with family and friends.
Outside of preschool, you’ll often find us shag dancing, tailgating at Clemson football games, cheering on the Pittsburgh Steelers, reading a good book, or enjoying time together with family and friends.

It is a joy and a privilege to partner with families during these precious preschool years. My prayer is that every child who walks through my classroom doors feels loved, encouraged, and excited to learn while discovering just how special they are to God.

I am originally from Illinois. My husband and I moved to the Lake Wylie area five years ago. We have three beautiful children, two boys and a girl.

When not in the classroom I enjoy hiking, kayaking, fishing, and traveling with my family.

I am truly thankful to be a part of a warm inviting school with such an amazing staff at ACPS. Thank you for sharing your child with us. I feel blessed to be able to watch them grow and learn.

Jill Sabella

In my free time, I also love making handmade cards & working out.

All of our boys attended ACPS from 2007-2015. So, ACPS has been a part of our lives for a long time!  My involvement started as a parent, then moved to substitute, the chapel music teacher and finally included serving on the preschool board as the Chairman.  I enjoy working alongside our amazing staff and getting to know all of the kids.  Let's get ready for another year of fun!

Sarah Visser

I have a bachelor’s degree in Elementary education from Winthrop University (Go Eagles!) and taught before deciding to stay home with my kids. I have 5 children Cooper (20), Marley (17), Finley (15), Miller (13), and Porter (13). Being able to be home with them and work part time for my husband has been the blessing of my life. My passion has always been for kids. Teaching them, loving them, and being a positive adult in their life. As my own children have gotten older and don’t need me as much, I’m excited to be able to pour into my students.

I love the beach and get there when I can but most of my free time is spend on the softball field, the volleyball court, and the soccer pitch. Any time I can steal between watching my kids do all their sports is spent at my pool, reading, or doing whatever craft projects I’ve recently gotten in to.

I moved to York from the DC area in 2005 with my husband and two children. My kids are now both adults. Sadly, babies don’t keep. My daughter graduated from USC and now works full time on the USC campus. My son(who attended ACPS) works full time in sales in Charlotte. Kristen Surratt

Two's Teacher & Preschool Chaplin

As an ordained Deacon in The United Methodist Church, I serve in extension ministry as both the Preschool Chaplain and a two-year-old teacher at Allison Creek Preschool.

As chaplain, I enjoy finding creative ways to bring the Bible to life for our children and their families. In addition to leading weekly chapel, I develop engaging opportunities for children to experience the stories of Scripture and begin building a strong foundation of faith. We also worship together each week and serve our community through our weekly offering. allowing our children to discover that they are never too young to worship, serve, and share God's love with others. A meaningful part of my ministry is providing pastoral care and support for our preschool families. Whether you are a child or an adult, if you have a need, please reach out.

I also have the joy of returning to the classroom—my first love after graduating from college. It is a privilege to help our youngest learners explore, discover, and grow each day. Watching children develop confidence in who God created them to be while nurturing their unique gifts, abilities, and curiosity is one of the greatest blessings of my work.

My husband and I live in Lake Wylie with our two boys. Most days you'll find us playing outside, cooking or baking together, or embracing messy science experiments. Originally from just outside Philadelphia, I moved south to attend Queens University, where I earned my undergraduate degree. After entering full-time ministry, I received my master's degree in Christian Practice from Duke Divinity School.
